Gemini to Open Miami Office

The Winklevoss twins’ crypto exchange, Gemini, is set to open a new office in the Miami area as it nears the resolution of a legal dispute with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

As reported by Bloomberg on March 31, Gemini has signed a lease in Miami’s Wynwood Art District, a burgeoning hub for tech and crypto companies, according to real estate firm Sterling Bay Properties.

This expansion is a strategic move by Gemini to increase its US presence beyond its existing locations in New York and Europe. The exchange could start operations from the new office as early as May.

The opening coincides with impending resolution in the SEC’s enforcement action against Gemini.
