ByBit Resumes Operations in India

Crypto exchange Bybit has resumed its trading services in India following regulatory approval from Indian authorities.

On February 25, Bybit informed its Indian users via email that all services, including the ability to open new trades and access other products, have been fully restored. Users in India can now access all functions that were previously restricted.

In January, Bybit had suspended access to several services—such as account opening, order placement, and other products—in India due to regulatory issues with local authorities.

At the time, exchange representatives stated that they were in the process of obtaining a full operational license from the country’s Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU).
