Fantom Network Will Launch the Algorithmic Stablecoin USDB

The Fantom project has announced it will launch its stablecoin USDB with high-yield liquidity pools as collateral. The issuer will be an established organization, Balance, which includes some members of FantomDAO.

The tokenomics of the asset involves burning the FantOHM (FHM) token to issue USDB and reverse the process to create FHM backed by assets in the Fantom treasury.

The developers of the project have announced farming through the Liquid Driver protocol and the provision of liquidity in the Beethoven X project. Staking is also expected with a solution to minimize intermittent loss.

The developers will launch the TradFi Bonds project, which will generate a yield of 21%-32.5% per annum in USDB using the DAI stablecoin.
