T. Rowe Price, With $1.77T in Assets, Files for Active Crypto ETF

Asset management giant T. Rowe Price has filed with the SEC to launch its inaugural crypto exchange-traded fund.

The actively managed “T. Rowe Price Active Crypto ETF” will target a portfolio of major cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin, Ether, Solana, and XRP, with the objective of outperforming a benchmark index of the top 10 U.S.-listed crypto assets.

The filing represents a major step for the trillions-dollar firm into the digital asset ecosystem.
