Strategy’s Holdings Hit 640,250 BTC After New Purchase

Strategy, the de facto leader in corporate Bitcoin treasury strategy, has made another tactical acquisition, buying 220 BTC for $27.2 million.

The move brings its total holdings to 640,250 bitcoin, solidifying its playbook for other corporations to follow: using innovative capital markets instruments, such as perpetual preferred stock offerings, to fund continuous accumulation.

With an average cost basis of $74,000, the company’s strategy has so far generated paper profits exceeding $25 billion on its initial $47.4 billion investment.
