Senate GOP Drafts Market Structure Bill

The battle for crypto regulation is heating up—Senate Republicans just unveiled their draft bill, setting the stage for a potential compromise with the House.

Led by Banking Committee leaders Tim Scott and Cynthia Lummis, the proposal builds on the House’s CLARITY Act, aiming to end the “wild west” era of digital assets. “Clear rules are coming,” Scott promised.

But time is tight: After the House pushed through three bills last week (only one became law), the Senate GOP is racing to pass its version by October.
