Invesco and Galaxy Digital Submit SEC Filing for Spot Solana ETF

Invesco Ltd. and Galaxy Digital LP have formally filed with the US Securities and Exchange Commission to register the “Invesco Galaxy Solana ETF,” a spot Solana exchange-traded fund proposed for listing on Cboe BZX (ticker: QSOL).

Under the structure outlined in the filing, Invesco Capital Management LLC would serve as sponsor, The Bank of New York Mellon as administrator, and Coinbase Custody Trust Company as custodian. Galaxy Digital would be responsible for SOL acquisition and management.

The submission places Invesco and Galaxy among several asset managers—including VanEck and 21Shares—seeking Solana ETF approval. This follows the SEC’s landmark approvals of spot Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs earlier this year, though regulatory clarity on Solana’s status remains unresolved.
