XRP Ledger Users Gain USDC Access for Smoother Trading

XRP Ledger (XRPL) holders can now transact in Circle’s USDC, thanks to Thursday’s integration.

The upgrade includes an auto-bridging feature, letting traders use XRP to move USDC between decentralized exchanges effortlessly.

“Stablecoins unlock real-world crypto utility beyond trading,” noted Markus Infanger of RippleX.

The launch aligns with US regulatory discussions on stablecoins, a $237+ billion market backed by Treasury reserves.

Ironically, while some nations dump US debt, stablecoins may help preserve dollar relevance in global finance.
