Survey: More Than 50% of Advisers Will Invest in Crypto

According to a survey conducted by Bitwise, more than half of US-based financial advisers indicated an increased interest in investing in crypto due to Donald Trump’s victory in the 2020 United States presidential election.

This survey, conducted from November 14 to December 20, asked 430 financial advisers about their attitudes towards crypto, with 56% stating they are more likely to invest in crypto this year following the election results on November 5.

The crypto industry is hopeful that Trump will be supportive of creating a crypto-friendly environment and some, such as Jack Mallers, founder and CEO of Strike, believe he may even designate Bitcoin as a US reserve asset on his first day in office through an executive order.

The survey also found that among advisers who are currently investing in crypto, 99% plan to maintain or increase their exposure this year. Additionally, 71% of advisers reported that their clients are already investing in crypto independently, viewing it as a potential source of future growth.
