Raiffeisen Bank’s Subsidiary to Launch Bitcoin Operations Next Year

In April, Raiffeisenlandesbank, a financial group within the Austrian Raiffeisen Bank, announced that it would be launching its own service for buying and selling Bitcoin.

Through this service, clients of the bank will be able to make transactions with digital currency using the popular BitPanda platform.

The bank’s press release last week revealed that the service for purchasing BTC will be available to retail clients starting in early 2024 and will be fully operational by the end of the first quarter.

According to a representative from Raiffeisenlandesbank, there has been a significant increase in clients’ demand for digital currencies in recent months, leading the bank to offer this service to meet their needs.

They also mentioned that, in addition to Bitcoin, other digital currencies available through BitPanda will gradually become accessible to users of the service.
