Binance.US Loses Other Key Execs

As pressure intensifies from regulators, Binance.US is losing more key executives. According to The Wall Street Journal, the exchange’s head of legal, Krishna Juvvadi, and its chief risk officer, Sidney Majalya, have left the company.

This comes just days after Brian Schroder, the head of Binance.US, departed and 3/4 of its staff were laid off. A spokesperson for Binance.US told The Block that the Securities and Exchange Commission’s (SEC) case against the company has had a “real-world” impact on American jobs and technology.

Juvvadi had been with Binance.US since May 2022 after working in the U.S. Department of Justice’s Civil Rights Division and had previously been global head of operations compliance at Uber.

Majalya had held his post since December 2021, and was previously the chief compliance officer at Intel.
