Changpeng Zhao: Meme Coins Are Misunderstood

Changpeng Zhao (CZ), head of crypto exchange Binance, has expressed during a Twitter Spaces conference his lack of understanding in regard to meme tokens.

He has noted that if a coin has a large number of holders and generates interest, Binance is more likely to list it.

CZ has further commented on his lack of knowledge on non-fungible tokens and stated that although he has never purchased them, he believes in the potential of the technology.

Additionally, he has mentioned his opinion on First Republic Bank, noting that the crypto community should not rely on the failures of others, and that a successful economy would be beneficial to digital assets.
