Hackers Use Crypto Mixer Tornado Cash to Launder 1,774 ETH Stolen from Raydium

According to CertiK experts, an Ethereum address associated with the Raydium AMM protocol exploit laundered 1,774.5 ETH through crypto mixer Tornado Cash on January 19.

The funds were stolen in December last year by hacking the administrator account keys that power Raydium smart contracts. According to reports, the hackers managed to steal about $4.4 million in assets.

The OFAC imposed sanctions on Tornado Cash August 8 as the agency suspected the platform of laundering about $7 billion since 2017. Over $455 million of them were associated with North Korean hackers.
