MicroStrategy Spends $44.6M to Increase its BTC Reserves

MicroStrategy, an analyst software provider, has just bought 2,501 BTC.

According to the document filed with the SEC, between November 1 and December 21, 2022, MicroStrategy purchased approximately 2,395 BTC for $42.8 million at a price of $17,871.

Besides, on December 22, the company sold approximately 704 BTC for $11.8 million. On December 24, MicroStrategy bought 810 BTC for $13.6 million at an average price of about $16,845.

The company’s BTC holdings currently amount to 132,500 BTC and have a value of about $4.03 billion.

MicroStrategy’s previous investment in BTC was in September, when the company purchased 301 BTC for $6 million.
