The British Authorities Are Considering a Bill to Control the Crypto Market

The British authorities want to speed up the implementation of legislation regulating transactions with digital currencies.

According to the UK treasury, a large-scale document on the control of financial markets will include a series of clauses on crypto regulation.

The bill has already been discussed in the House of Commons, and it should be submitted to the House of Lords for consideration in early 2023 (January).

After that, the document will return for approval to the lower house of parliament, and only after that it will be signed by the king of the country before it comes into force.

The bill is intended not only to ensure the transparency of transactions with digital currencies, but also to introduce a set of measures to protect the rights of investors.
