MetaMask Developers Add Cross-chain Bridge Aggregator to Wallet

The MetaMask team has launched a beta version of the MetaMask Bridges tool for moving tokens between networks. The service combines the best routes based on time, cost, and security factors.

MetaMask Bridges is available in mobile and desktop versions within a single window through Portfolio Dapp.

The tool allows users to select the underlying network, the destination network and the token to be migrated with a list of connection parameters. In the next step, the user can use the recommended route or compare all the alternatives detected by price and time.

The solution is integrated on two levels: individual bridges (Connext, Hop, Celer cBridge and Polygon Bridge) and their aggregators (Socket and LI.FI).
