KPMG: Venture Capital Investment in Blockchain Industry Will Fall
According to consulting firm KPMG, from January to June this year, venture investments in the industry amounted to $14.2 billion. Market participants concluded 725 transactions, and analysts predict a reduction in funding for projects in the crypto sphere by the end of the year.
According to the company analysts, the largest investment was attracted by the German platform Trade Republic with $1.1 billion.
Large capitals also received funds from service for storing digital assets Fireblocks and the crypto exchange FTX: $550 million and $500 million, respectively.
Another major deal was the funding of the projects of the ConsenSys team, which creates the Ethereum infrastructure.
