GameStop Releases an NFT Platform

US video game retailer GameStop announced at the beginning of the year it planned to launch its own NFT platform.

The giant then said it would develop a marketplace for transactions with tokenized collections before the end of this year. Then, the company decided to accelerate work in this direction and later, the company announced the platform would become available to users in mid-summer.

Now, GameStop has just introduced its own platform for operations with NFT tokens.

According to the announcement, both gamers and ordinary supporters of the industry will be able to buy, sell and exchange digital collections.

More than 230 collections have been placed on the marketplace since its launch.
