Bitcoin Miners Have Already Mined 105,000 Blocks

Halving occurs every four years. The last halving took place in the spring of 2020, and the next one is scheduled for 2024. Miner reward reduction occurs after 210,000 blocks have been mined.

Mining pool Poolin yesterday brought the date of this important event for the crypto sphere closer by mining the 105,000th block. Thus, halfway has already been passed, for the mining of block #735,000, the pool earned 0.16215354 BTC ($6402) in fees.

As noted by popular analyst Samson Moe, we are halfway there, and now we need to prepare for a new phase in the history of Bitcoin.

The next halving should take place in April 2024. The last coin will be mined approximately before 2140.
