Sam Altman Admits His Crypto Project Worldcoin is Experiencing Problems

Sam Altman, Worldcoin co-founder, has mentioned that creating the Orbs product posed a great number of production challenges and also highlighted the difficulty in initially overcoming the reluctance to biometric data collection.

He has echoed these sentiments by adding that Alex Blania has been working diligently in communicating with politicians and regulators to ultimately build more public awareness towards the project.

Blania also stated that Worldcoin guarantees privacy by deleting all data and allowing users to remain anonymous, supporting the need for an identification verification mechanism across the web.

Following its launch on July 24, the project has drawn considerable attention from multiple jurisdictions, including the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Argentina and Kenya, yet Kenyans’ interest has resulted in its suspension.
