Harbor Protocol Vaults Are Attacked by a Hacker

Harbor Protocol, a decentralized application based on CosmWasm smart contracts and operating in the Cosmos ecosystem, was the victim of an attack on August 19, resulting in the storages of stOSMO, LUNA, and WMATIC being damaged.

It is still unknown the exact amount of funds stolen, but according to DeFi Llama, the amount of funds locked in the protocol went from $370,000 to $64,000 between August 15-19.

The project has stated that they are currently “working diligently” to investigate the actions of the attacker and trace the funds with the aim of providing a detailed report on the incident.

As of now, the only address associated with the criminal is comdex1sma0ntw7fq3fpux8suxkm9h8y642fuqt0ujwt5.

Harbor Protocol provides users with the ability to farm rewards by locking funds in the protocol, as well as generate liquidity for projects through its own cross-chain stablecoin CMST and native coin HORBOR.
