LGT Group has officially announced that it will open a platform on which clients of the financial institution will be able to trade Bitcoin and Ether. In addition, the possibility of long-term investment in cryptocurrencies will be assigned to users.

As a result, citizens will be able to simply buy a certain amount of virtual coins and store them in their bank account in the long term, without any commission.

According to reports, now LGT banking institution has a very high trust from customers. The amount of assets that are currently stored on the accounts of the LGT Group is almost $300 billion.

According to the official statement of the partners, during the first period of operation of the new division, LGT Bank will provide services for the storage and trading of only two cryptocurrencies: BTC and ETH. However, the financial institution has noted that in the future the number of supported digital assets will increase significantly.
