Crypto Market Expands as NYSE Clears Grayscale’s Dogecoin and XRP ETF Launches
The market for spot cryptocurrency ETFs continues to diversify as the New York Stock Exchange gives its final approval to Grayscale’s Dogecoin and XRP funds.
The listings, set to go live on Monday, mark a significant moment for assets often categorized as more speculative.
The approval for the Grayscale XRP Trust and the Grayscale Dogecoin Trust was certified by NYSE Arca. This move is part of a wider trend, with Bloomberg’s Eric Balchunas noting a Grayscale Chainlink ETF is also in the pipeline for the near future.
The Dogecoin ETF, which converts an existing trust, is anticipated to generate around $11 million in volume on its debut, testing institutional appetite for the meme-based asset.
