Kraken Gets EU-Wide Crypto License Through Ireland

Cryptocurrency platform Kraken has received a major regulatory approval in Ireland, allowing it to operate across Europe.

The new MiCA license, granted by Ireland’s Central Bank, means Kraken can now offer its services in 30 European countries.

Kraken called this a big step in its European expansion. The company is already registered in several EU nations, including France, Italy, and Spain.

“This license helps us grow safely and reach more customers with trusted crypto services,” said Kraken’s co-CEO Arjun Sethi.

The MiCA rules, which started last year, create consistent crypto regulations for the entire EU.
