OKX Launches Crypto Exchange and Wallet in US

Cryptocurrency exchange OKX has launched its operations in the United States, introducing its centralized exchange platform and OKX Wallet to American users, the company announced Wednesday.

This launch marks OKX’s formal entry into one of the world’s largest financial markets, with its U.S. headquarters set up in San Jose, California.

Previously, the company settled with US regulators for operating without a license.

The rollout will occur in phases to ensure smooth onboarding, with a full nationwide launch expected later this year.

Roshan Robert, the newly appointed CEO of OKX US, stated that the expansion will provide American users with access to OKX’s trading platform. In addition to major cryptocurrencies like BTC, ETH, USDT, and USDC, there will also be local bank account integrations for fiat on and off-ramps.
