Ripple Files Trademark Application for Crypto Custody and Wallet Services

Ripple Labs has filed a trademark application for “Ripple Custody,” signaling a move into cryptocurrency custody services.

The application includes downloadable software for the custody, transmission, and storage of cryptocurrencies, fiat, virtual, and digital assets, along with financial custodial services for asset management.

Additionally, it covers peer-to-peer financial data transmission and Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions for digital asset custody.

This follows Ripple’s October 2024 launch of its custody service, expanding beyond its core payment settlement operations.
